We hear a lot on Nationalist websites about Black on White racial abuse and violent attack, because the mainstream media play it down. This episode though has just been brought to my attention by my daughter.

Her Black friend was walking down the street when some White idiots shouted abuse at her whilst driving past. They were so dumb that they called her a ‘Paki’ when she is obviously of African descent. This is an example of racial hatred ‘just for the sake of it’ by the ignorant perpetrators

Can you imagine how nervous this women felt when she a few days later called at my house with my daughter to have her hair braided, after being informed that I was a Member of the British National Party?

We are not a racist party. We may be ethno-Nationalists but it certainly doesn't mean that we exclude all other Brits of different ethnicity within the fold.

The Newspapers and globalist owned mass media just love to portray us as Hitler worshipping White supremacists, and it just isn’t true. We are British, we love our cultural Heritage, but many of us accept and love as kindred people of different ethnic backgrounds who have lived among us, fought for our country and respected our laws and customs.

Basically the BNP are for the British, not only the indigenous Brits, but for those others who share our values. Skin colour is immaterial, it is what is in the heart that counts.

Labour and the EU undermining UK Food Security

In January 2009, a memorandum on the subject of securing food supplies was submitted to the Environment, Transport and Rural Affairs committee by the Warwick HRI, the UK’s leading facility in the areas of crop science, horticulture and food security.

The memorandum stated that a key research priority should be to optimise the efficiency and sustainability of UK food production and that significant losses occur not only because of aesthetic quality standards, but also because of pests and diseases ....and that production will be reduced by European Union legislation that reduces the number of available pesticides.

The Warwick HRI memorandum also let it be known that ....

Farming operations and food distribution would be directly impacted by increasing energy prices.

That there was “significant” scope for large scale automation but was hindered by a lack of investment.

There is an insufficient supply of knowledgeable and skilled labour, particularly in agronomy, plant pathology and weed science, with expertise often being “one-deep” – provided by a single person or organisation.

That this has been caused by a reduction in government funding for agricultural research and has resulted in a serious loss of capacity, knowledge and expertise - compounded by the privatisation of the Agricultural Advisory Service in 1997.

Succession planning - the process by which knowledge and expertise is passed onto others, including our next generation - was “universally weak“ or “non-existent” and that the resultant “skills gap” was being filled by migrant workers.

That the UK has the “the largest trade deficit for fruit and vegetables” and there is scope for “import substitution” ....in other words - growing our own.

There is a lack of contingency in system to deal with potential crop failures and fuel shortages.

There are major weaknesses in the UK food supply chain associated with human resources ....

“ It is our view that there is likely to be a shortage of knowledge and expertise in
   the medium term in relation to skills associated with crop production and land
   management .... and also in crop research and development (particularly in more
   applied areas such as soil science and agronomy)”

That there is a need to improve yields because most land that is suitable for farming is in use, there is pressure to release farming land on the outskirts of urban areas to satisfy the increasing need for housing, and the production of bio-energy crops “may also be a threat in terms of demand for land”.

That research was being impacted by government short-termism.

That if the government really wants a sustainable food policy, then food production needs to generate sufficient reward for the producer and a sufficient level of income to allow for reinvestment in its future.

“Under those circumstances there would not be a central role for Defra. However
if Governments continue to pursue a cheap food policy then the industry
(and consumers) will be fully reliant on Defra for a range of R&D support driven
by strong leadership and focus.”

“ A transparent system should be in place for decisions led by evidence rather than
   by pressure from special interest groups.”

That there are conflicting drivers for change in different government departments and that there needs to be a clearer understanding of what the priorities are and who should be delivering them.

So what happened next ....?

The UK’s top university department for crop science, horticulture and food security - the 474-acre Wellesbourne site of Warwick HRI - is being closed down.

Yep ....they are now destroying any chance of us being even remotely self-sufficient in food production.

You told them that they should be united in diversity when their jobs were being taken by those you imported to support you and your party. You drove an entire generation into the benefit trap and their children further into poverty.

And if that’s wasn’t enough, you really took the piss and personally stole thousands of pounds of their money, channelling into companies run by former party organisers.

Last week UKIP MEP Tom Wise was jailed for embezzlement, this week it’s Michael Nattrass MEP in the firing line.

When will the British People realise that UKIP are merely an extension of the Lib-Lab-Con? And when will the falling number of UKIP members who hold honour and decency in high regard choose to join the only party that truly has the interests of the British People at heart?

UKIP MEP Michael Nattrass in expenses fraud inquiry

An MEP for the United Kingdom Independence party is being investigated by the European Union’s anti-fraud watchdog over his use of expenses.

Michael Nattrass, who has represented the West Midlands in the European parliament since 2004, is the subject of an inquiry into whether Denis Brookes, one of his former aides, was paid through public funds while he was working as a regional organiser for UKIP. The EU does not allow taxpayers’ money to be used to pay party officials.

The inquiry into Nattrass, which is part of a wider investigation into UKIP’s finances, comes as one of its former MEPs, Tom Wise, was jailed last week for two years for embezzling funds out of his assistant’s allowance.

It has also emerged that Nattrass was using a company of which he was a shareholding partner as the “paying agent” for all his assistants’ salaries provided by the EU.

Wootton Bassett and Corporate Media smears

When the Chairman of the British National Party attended the Wootton Bassett repatriation parade last week, he did so simply to pay his personal respects and to mourn alongside those for whom it has sadly become a tradition. Nick attended the parade, not in his capacity as the Chairman of the British National Party, not even in his capacity as an elected member of the European Parliament, but simply as a man wishing to pay his respects to our brave men and women who lost their lives on foreign soil.

The local party organisers were asked if it was possible for Nick to pay his respects. They decided that it was indeed possible and the necessary security arrangements were made. There was absolutely no desire or attempt made to highlight Nick’s participation and this was most certainly not, as the Corporate Media have reported, a publicity stunt. It was a personal choice, by a man, and an honourable one at that.

DISGUST AT BNP LEADER'S BID TO HIJACK TRIBUTE TO TROOPS

BNP leader Nick Griffin caused fury last night by trying to hijack the repatriation ceremony for the six soldiers.

The far-right MEP paraded with cronies along the funeral route, claiming he was in Wootton Bassett to “pay his respects”.

Flanked by a group of burly minders, the controversial 50-year-old Cambridge law graduate was simply courting publicity, according to critics.

But his appearance opposite the grieving families yesterday caused anger locally and nationally.

Philip Davies, Tory MP for Shipley, Yorkshire, said: “It is unacceptable for any politician or any party leader to try to make political capital out of something as tragic as our soldiers coming back to Wootton Bassett.”

He added: “Most people will see it is as a publicity stunt, and a pretty tasteless one at that.” Fellow Tory MP and former Army officer Patrick Mercer said: “The repatriation of our dead should stand well above mere party politics or political grandstanding.”

And when the leader of the Conservative Party took part in a photo shoot with his personal photographer at the Garden of Remembrance? Was that a publicity stunt too Mr Davis (Conservative MP for Shipley) and Mr Mercer (Conservative MP for Newark and Retford), coming as it did just one day after the British National Party chairman was caught on camera paying his personal respects to our fallen dead?

Or did the Trinity Mirror Group create that story for it’s own financial and political gain?

I don’t know the answer to that question.

But I do know this, the only reason that the presence of Nick Griffin became a big issue is because the Corporate Media made it a big issue. It was the Corporate Media’s negative coverage of Nick’s participation at the repatriation parade and attempts at political point scoring by these two Conservative MPs (amongst others) that detracted from the events of that day.

The truth is that the British National Party is helping to keep the media in profit (or a least reduced loss). Every visit to an online news site generates revenue from advertising and it is only this advertising revenue that is keeping them afloat. Whenever they publish garbage like this, it attracts more traffic primarily because people wish to express a contrary opinion in the comments section, or simply to recommend existing comments. If the article is impartial it will attract less comments and with it reduced advertising revenue. There is a way to combat this particular approach and deny the media the advertising revenue that comes from your visit, but that will be the subject of a future post.

The London Evening Standard does however report the day’s events more impartially ....

BNP leader gets 'friendly' reception as he joins soldiers' mourners

BNP leader Nick Griffin was present in Wootton Bassett today to see the bodies of six soldiers pass through the town after their repatriation from Afghanistan to British soil.

Mr Griffin stood on the high street where hearses carrying the soldiers' Union Flag-draped coffins were due to arrive.

Wearing a black coat, adorned with a poppy, the controversial MEP stood with a minder opposite family and friends of the fallen soldiers.

Mr Griffin said: "I wanted to come here today because this is the second worst toll to be coming through and because tomorrow is Remembrance Day. So it's fitting that as many people as possible come here today."

He added: "It's an absolutely tremendous and very moving display."

Mr Griffin said he had a "friendly" reaction from the public to his presence.

"It's been very low key, I've been talking to many people and it's been very friendly," he said.

When asked for his view on the conflict in Afghanistan after the loss of the five soldiers killed by a rogue Afghan police officer, Mr Griffin said: "This is not the time or the place for political statements - it's for remembrance. I have strong views on Afghanistan but I'm not prepared to discuss them here."

Hundreds of people lined the streets as the coffins passed through the Wiltshire town.

But now that time has passed, there is a great need for political statements on the subject of Afghanistan as well as a need for many questions to be answered by those in power.

Our servicemen and women are involved in a war - one that is illegal, morally wrong and unwinnable. Why must these brave men and women put their lives on the line for a cause that is not their own, a cause of the political and corporate elite who are driven not by honour, virtue or a need to defend our shores but are instead driven by a lust for power and profit? Why must our warriors leave their families and friends because of a desire to install and maintain a western style puppet government as corrupt as our own, if not more so? Why should they be sacrificing themselves on foreign soil when the dismantling of their homeland and culture continues apace? Why must they come home in boxes enveloped in the flag instead of coming home to be enveloped in the love of their family, their friends and their people?

Why?

Where is the rationale?

Too many questions and not enough answers.

This was a policy of the Labour government, the policy they tried to hide from the British public.

The Labour government are culpable in every murder, rape, assault or other criminal act carried out by an immigrant allowed into this country during the period of this government. The Labour government are responsible for the ethnic cleansing of huge areas through forced outward migration of the indigenous people, and their replacement by non-indigenous peoples.

Those who objected ....

were branded racists, fascists, bigots, xenophobic, islamophobic or nazi.

were threatened with the loss of their jobs, their homes and their security.

were thrown out of Trade Unions who supported and profited from the government policy.

were attacked by taxpayer and trade-union funded thugs such as UAF.

were lied about by the media.

This goes much further than just the Home Office.

Treason aside, I wonder how many ministers in government are guilty of the common-law offence of Perverting the course of justice in attempting to not only suppress information relating to this criminal activity, but also in attempt to pass blame onto more junior personnel.

I want these people put on trial and punished for their crimes.

Home Office covered up immigration risk

Labour's “open door” immigration policy knowingly risked allowing dangerous people to settle in Britain unchecked, according to documents seen by The Sunday Times.

The Whitehall correspondence, which was illegally withheld by the Home Office for four years, shows how ministers were told by the country’s most senior immigration official that his staff were to be “encouraged to take risks” when granting visas, work permits and extended residency to hundreds of thousands of new migrants.

The cover-up of this policy of risk-taking was so concerted that Richard Thomas, the then information commissioner, sent a team of investigators into the Home Office to trawl all the relevant papers. Earlier this year he rebuked the department for breaking the law and ordered it to release the material under the freedom of information (FoI) law.

The documents help to explain the huge rise in the flow of migrants into Britain as the Home Office rushed to clear a backlog of 45,000 cases.

Officials agreed to fast-track 337,000 applications with minimal checks. This led to a rapid rise in immigration. In 1999, 170,000 visas were granted; by 2002, this had risen to 300,000.

As officials were being ordered to take risks, several potentially dangerous people entered the UK. In late 2001, more than 20 Taliban, who had fled from Afghanistan after their defeat by American and British forces, were allowed to stay in the UK.

The documents cast new light on the row over past immigration policy, highlighted by the recent rise of the British National party.

Last week Alan Johnson became the first Labour home secretary to admit the government had made mistakes in its handling of immigration. He said ministers had ignored problems about failed asylum seekers and foreign national prisoners. They had also failed to grasp public unease about the growing pressure on jobs and public services.

Johnson’s remarks signalled the government’s belated recognition that its immigration policy has alienated its white working-class vote, tempting a significant minority to back the BNP. The documents indicate that, far from being a mistake, there was a deliberate policy — apparently endorsed at the highest level in the Home Office — to promote concerted risk-taking by immigration staff whose job was to decide whether non-European Union migrants applying to work, study or marry in Britain were genuine.

A key figure in the scandal was Sir Bill Jeffrey, who was the director-general of the Immigration and Nationality Directorate, Britain’s most senior immigration official. He is now at the centre of controversy as the senior civil servant in charge of the Ministry of Defence.

The other key figure was Beverley Hughes, then minister of state for citizenship and immigration. She was later forced to resign after it emerged she had misled MPs about whether she had been warned that Romanian and Bulgarian crime gangs might want to exploit the UK’s decision to open its borders to those seeking work from eastern Europe.

In March 2003, shortly after the 2001 entry permits to the Taliban had come to light — to an outcry in the press — Jeffrey spelled out the policy in a note to Hughes.

“We are still in a situation where some risks have to be taken, and staff should feel that if they are encouraged to take risks they will be supported when something does go wrong,” he wrote.

The minister’s office replied by e-mail three days later:

“Beverley Hughes has seen and noted your submission of 7 March . . . Beverley feels the basic point is that while staff have to take some risks, this was a decision that flew in the face of common sense.”

The e-mail was copied to David Blunkett, then home secretary, and Sir John Gieve, his most senior mandarin. The words “to be withheld” were later scribbled across the top, an apparent instruction not to comply with an FoI request for its release.

The same words appear on a note, prepared by Jeffrey, sent to Hughes a few day later. In it, in response to Hughes’s insistent complaints about the need to clear the 45,000 backlog, he outlined the new “risk-taking” policy. This involved fast-tracking all 337,000 applications, with little or no regard as to whether they were merited.

The policy, codenamed Brace, meant that officials had to make quick decisions based on the paperwork in an applicant’s file, regardless of whether it was complete. No further follow-up checks were to be made.

Jeffrey said staff were given guidance that “Brace is about pragmatic (ie not pursing every angle that could conceivably justify refusal) grants rather than pragmatic refusals”.

In other words, the official policy was in principle to grant applications rather than to refuse them.

This telling exchange — and equally significant evidence of a concerted cover-up — is buried deep in a batch of documents that ministers tried desperately to prevent being made public.

Their illegal activity followed an application by a Whitehall whistleblower, Steve Moxon, to force them to release the material under the Freedom of Information Act.

An immigration case worker whose ultimate bosses had been Jeffrey and Hughes, Moxon was sacked after telling The Sunday Times about the fast-tracking process in 2004. He has spent five years trying to obtain the truth about the policy, which Hughes always claimed publicly was implemented by junior officials without her knowledge.

Not only do the papers expose her claim as untrue; they go further in showing that Hughes and Jeffrey were happy to encourage the culture of deliberate risk-taking.

When an FoI application was made to see their exchanges, ministers argued that the material was exempt from disclosure because policy advice given by officials to their political masters should remain confidential.

In official correspondence with the information commissioner, the Home Office said that “a Home Office minister” had ruled that the documents should not be released.

But in March this year, Thomas ruled: “The public interest in favour of maintaining the exemption does not outweigh the public interest in disclosure.

“The commissioner requires the (Home Office) to disclose the information which has been withheld . . . In failing to release information, the commissioner finds that the (Home Office) breached sections 1 and 10 (of the Freedom of Information Act.”

The government reluctantly conceded, placing the documents on an obscure part of the department’s website, apparently in the hope that nobody would notice.

Yesterday, the Tories said they would be demanding an urgent explanation of the documents from the government. **

Chris Grayling, the shadow home secretary, said: “This is shaping up to become one of the major political scandals of recent times. Ministers quite clearly broke the law and deliberately misled the public to cover up a policy which most reasonable people would say was utterly irresponsible.”

Whiff of a smoking gun

Why did new Labour secretly open Britain’s borders, while pretending to control the numbers under its so-called “managed migration” policy?

Two weeks ago Andrew Neather, a former speechwriter for Tony Blair, wrote an article saying Labour had allowed immigration to rocket in order to turn Britain “truly multicultural” and “to rub the right’s noses in diversity”.

The heart of his claim was that uncontrolled mass immigration had been a deliberate, covert policy to change the country’s demographics.

But Labour’s core vote, the white working class, were drawn to the BNP at the resulting pressure on jobs, homes and schools.

Alan Johnson, the home secretary, has said Labour was “maladroit” on the issue: the immigration door was left wide open because of “cock-up” not a “conspiracy”. But Neather’s account may be only half the story.

Chris Mullin, a former minister, recalled in his memoirs that ministers had “barely touched the rackets that surrounded arranged marriages . . . terrified of the huge cry of ‘racism’ that would go up

. . . There is the added difficulty that at least 20 Labour seats, including Jack (Straw’s), depend on Asian votes”.

With up to 80% of ethnic minorities voting Labour, it is obvious that the more immigrants who get the right to vote, the greater is Labour’s electoral share. Perhaps Mullin has stumbled on a smoking gun.

** Anyone who believes that the Conservative Party was unaware of this policy, or that they will attempt to do something about it is an idiot. The Tories may not have been in power, but they have been in government and had access to vast amounts of information regarding this and other government policies. If the British National Party could see what was happening from the outside, then you can be very sure that the Tories could see what was happening from the inside ....

....the difference is that the Tories did not object.

Like many people who watched the attempted character assassination of Nick Griffin on Question Time recently I was totally appalled by the blatant dishonesty and crass ignorance displayed by David Dimbleby and his panel of rabid attack hyenas and the baying audience of hand picked leftards and UAF supporters.

This disgusting debacle has been the subject of much discussion since it was aired, so my intention is not to sift through the potshards generally, but I intend to air my views about that superficial woman Bonny Greer, making special reference to her pseudo-scientific ‘out of Africa’ claptrap.

She had the audacity to invite him to the British Museum for a lesson to understand once and for all that there is no such thing as "the indigenous British people".

I would like to see her try to tell me that! I am not going to bother to quibble about whether it was 17,000, 15,000, or even 10,000 years ago that the glaciers finally retreated, allowing the colonisation of Britain via the land bridge that once connected us to the continental massif which we now call mainland Europe. The fact of the matter is that during the Great Migrations, when the first hunter gatherers came to these shores, sometimes to be driven back during periods of re-glaciation, and afterwards, were all related tribes of European stock who had evolved quite separately to those of Asian and African origin.

Whites came from Africa originally yes, possibly, but what they fail to tell you is that the migration occurred far back enough - almost two million years - for the species of hominins to evolve separately hence the differences between the races. It was in fact, whites that migrated back into Africa.

A skull that rewrites the history of man

The conventional view of human evolution and how early man colonised the world has been thrown into doubt by a series of stunning paleontological discoveries suggesting that Africa was not the sole cradle of humankind. Scientists have found a handful of ancient human skulls at an archaeological site two hours from the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, that suggest a Eurasian chapter in the long evolutionary story of man.

The skulls, jawbones and fragments of limb bones suggest that our ancient human ancestors migrated out of Africa far earlier than previously thought and spent a long evolutionary interlude in Eurasia – before moving back into Africa to complete the story of man.

Experts believe fossilised bones unearthed at the medieval village of Dmanisi in the foothills of the Caucuses, and dated to about 1.8 million years ago, are the oldest indisputable remains of humans discovered outside of Africa.

But what has really excited the researchers is the discovery that these early humans (or "hominins") are far more primitive-looking than the Homo erectus humans that were, until now, believed to be the first people to migrate out of Africa about 1 million years ago.

The Dmanisi people had brains that were about 40 per cent smaller than those of Homo erectus and they were much shorter in stature than classical H. erectus skeletons, according to Professor David Lordkipanidze, general director of the Georgia National Museum. "Before our findings, the prevailing view was that humans came out of Africa almost 1 million years ago, that they already had sophisticated stone tools, and that their body anatomy was quite advanced in terms of brain capacity and limb proportions. But what we are finding is quite different," Professor Lordkipanidze said.

"The Dmanisi hominins are the earliest representatives of our own genus – Homo – outside Africa, and they represent the most primitive population of the species Homo erectus to date.
They might be ancestral to all later Homo erectus populations, which would suggest a Eurasian origin of Homo erectus."
Speaking at the British Science Festival in Guildford, where he gave the British Council lecture, Professor Lordkipanidze raised the prospect that Homo erectus may have evolved in Eurasia from the more primitive-looking Dmanisi population and then migrated back to Africa to eventually give rise to our own species, Homo sapiens – modern man.

"The question is whether Homo erectus originated in Africa or Eurasia, and if in Eurasia, did we have vice-versa migration? This idea looked very stupid a few years ago, but today it seems not so stupid," he told the festival.

The scientists have discovered a total of five skulls and a solitary jawbone. It is clear that they had relatively small brains, almost a third of the size of modern humans. "They are quite small. Their lower limbs are very human and their upper limbs are still quite archaic and they had very primitive stone tools," Professor Lordkipanidze said. "Their brain capacity is about 600 cubic centimetres. The prevailing view before this discovery was that the humans who first left Africa had a brain size of about 1,000 cubic centimetres."

The only human fossil to predate the Dmanisi specimens are of an archaic species Homo habilis, or "handy man", found only in Africa, which used simple stone tools and lived between about 2.5 million and 1.6 million years ago.

"I'd have to say, if we'd found the Dmanisi fossils 40 years ago, they would have been classified as Homo habilis because of the small brain size. Their brow ridges are not as thick as classical Homo erectus, but their teeth are more H. erectus like," Professor Lordkipanidze said. "All these finds show that the ancestors of these people were much more primitive than we thought. I don't think that we were so lucky as to have found the first travellers out of Africa.

Georgia is the cradle of the first Europeans, I would say," he told the meeting.

"What we learnt from the Dmanisi fossils is that they are quite small – between 1.44 metres to 1.5 metres tall. What is interesting is that their lower limbs, their tibia bones, are very human-like so it seems they were very good runners," he said.
He added: "In regards to the question of which came first, enlarged brain size or bipedalism, maybe indirectly this information calls us to think that body anatomy was more important than brain size. While the Dmanisi people were almost modern in their body proportions, and were highly efficient walkers and runners, their arms moved in a different way, and their brains were tiny compared to ours.

"Nevertheless, they were sophisticated tool makers with high social and cognitive skills,"
he told the science festival, which is run by the British Science Association. [ring any bells? - Ed.]

One of the five skulls is of a person who lost all his or her teeth during their lifetime but had still survived for many years despite being completely toothless. This suggests some kind of social organisation based on mutual care, Professor Lordkipanidze said.

Labour wanted mass immigration to make UK more multicultural, says former adviser

Labour threw open Britain's borders to mass immigration to help socially engineer a “truly multicultural” country, a former Government adviser has revealed.

The huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country and "rub the Right's nose in diversity", according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.

He said Labour's relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to "open up the UK to mass migration" but that ministers were nervous and reluctant to discuss such a move publicly for fear it would alienate its "core working class vote".

As a result, the public argument for immigration concentrated instead on the economic benefits and need for more migrants.

Critics said the revelations showed a "conspiracy" within Government to impose mass immigration for "cynical" political reasons.

Mr Neather was a speech writer who worked in Downing Street for Tony Blair and in the Home Office for Jack Straw and David Blunkett, in the early 2000s.

Writing in the Evening Standard, he revealed the "major shift" in immigration policy came after the publication of a policy paper from the Performance and Innovation Unit, a Downing Street think tank based in the Cabinet Office, in 2001.

I don’t believe so ....

While the apparatchiks would doubtless have experienced much glee at the opportunity to “rub the Right's nose in diversity” it is certainly not the reason that this particular subversive and treasonous act was committed. This revelation is a controlled leak, a cynical attempt to justify what they have done and what they are still doing and possibly to inflame tensions. A multi-cultural society was never the goal of New Labour, it was simply a phase in a project, a project in which a major milestone is the creation of a supra-national government, namely the European Union.

The British would never willingly succumb to supra-national government because our people have a strong and entirely natural sense of belonging that binds us to this place, our land, our culture and our people.

Our ancestors fought valiantly and successfully when exercising their inalienable personal right to protect their own way of life, their own values, their own beliefs and their own people. They exercised their inalienable right to fight for what belonged to them; the land that sustained them from birth and to which they were returned in death, the culture that enabled and protected them, and the people that they loved. They fought to protect their personal sovereignty and, in times of need, came together to protect their national sovereignty and with it their inalienable right to self-determination as a people in their own land.

It was in such times, when our ancestors fought against the successive waves of forces that sought to strip them of their inalienable ancient rights and liberties, that the social bonds, the personal relationships which bind our society together, were strengthened.

We, the descendants of the millions who fought and the millions who lost their lives in the process, still retain those inalienable rights to fight for what we love, the things that make us who we are, the preservation our natural place in this world ....our home, our tiny island, a land that belongs to us just as much we belong to it. It is our social bonds, passed down thought generations, reinforced in numerous times of hardship and conflict, that are the reason we still exist and that give us the strength to continue to fight.

Which brings me onto the real reason for mass immigration ....

The Destruction of Social Bonds

Our people became the target of those, both foreign and domestic, who strive for the destruction of our sovereignty in support of a foreign supra-national government that falls under the direct control of an unelected and undemocratic oligarchy. This process is highly unlawful by our own constitution ....

The government of the European Union is a government of treason and corruption and the powers that it possesses are unlawful ....yet it exists. It exists because it was created by acts of treason, but it continues to exist because it is sustained and strengthened by acts of subversion, some of which have served to deliberately weaken the social bonds that gave our people the strength and courage to stand together, to fight against oppression, to fight against the theft of our inalienable rights and liberties, to fight against the darkness.

Mass immigration was and still is just one of many subversive acts.

In order to reach this phase of the European Project they needed to weaken opposition amongst sovereign peoples, to bring that opposition within manageable levels and to achieve this they attacked the very foundations of our society, the social bonds themselves, and with them the sense of belonging they helped to reinforce.

One of the methods chosen to weaken our people was that of Population Transfer.

Communist mass-murderer and all-round fruitcake Joseph Stalin, considered a hero in the Communist Party from which many of today’s high ranking Labour officials and trade union leaders originated, came up with a solution to destroy those pesky social bonds. That solution was Population Transfer.

In the glorious days of the Soviet Union, where the need arose to rid the state of those classified as “anti-Soviet” or “enemies of the workers” (people who took offence to being invaded, turned into slaves or murdered), there were numerous methods of achieving population transfer including, most notably, mass-murder. But mass-murder is generally frowned upon nowadays ....unless you are an African dictator that chooses to murder white farmers, their wives and children in which case knowledge of your particular crime against humanity is quietly brushed under the carpet as your own people starve.

Another method of achieving population transfer was the highly successful “labor force transfer”, clearing entire territories of the original inhabitants, followed by organised inward migrations to fill these ethnically cleansed territories. The resultant destruction of social bonds would have massively weakened the willingness of the people to work together and fight against the oppressive totalitarian regime.

The policy of population transfer remains one of Stalin’s legacies, a policy that the Labour Party and it’s partners in the socialist dominated European Union have been more than willing to adopt, albeit subversively. Of course, they don’t refer to this process as “population transfer” or even directly acknowledge it’s existence. The need for the socialist elite to destroy social bonds and weaken us as a people had to be achieved through another, less conspicuous, method of population transfer - that of forced migration.

Mass immigration is a weapon, a weapon used to implement a subversive policy of forced migration. The effect of mass immigration is evident to all but the most stupid and obsessively single-minded person; it is incredibly unsustainable – environmentally, socially and economically, it reduces the availability of local-resources used to support local-people, drives down the quality of life, increases poverty and forces the existing population, if they are able and fortunate enough, to migrate away in search of their own people or in search of work when the local labor market becomes saturated.

The government know this, they acknowledge the effects and they acknowledge the problems, but they simply will not stop because mass immigration is their most effective weapon in the battle to destroy the ancient social bonds that have helped protect generations of our people from control, tyranny and slavery.

Whilst mass migration is a weapon, many of the migrants themselves are being used as human shields. They are deployed strategically, wheeled out in front of the media when necessary to be portrayed as victims who can only be saved from the evils of right wing common sense by the courageous, caring and dashingly diverse Labour Party. This helps to protect the government from being attacked on their policies ....hence a “human shield”.

The enemy is not the human shield itself, the enemy are the cowards who hide behind the shield, use these people and benefit from their situation, a situation which in many cases has been caused directly or indirectly by the policies of the very same bunch of governing cowards. They created their very own human shield.

And these cowards, criminals and traitors in government that have committed crimes against their own people and have conspired to destroy our nation ....we really will have to hang them won’t we.

I have been more out than in the last few days and have therefore not had the time to post much about the Question Time fiasco with it’s totally un-Democratic and anti-British attack on our Party Chairman and ELECTED MEP Nick Griffin.

David Dimbleby disgraced himself by not exercising the impartiality which he was SUPPOSED to adhere to, by making scurrilous and defamatory statements. Jack Straw showed his real colours ( a bright red communist) and that of his father ( a cowardly yellow ‘conscientious objector’ who spent WW2 languishing in prison while TRUE BRITS DIED ) There was ‘Baroness’ Warsi the conservative Muslim Peer, employing her own brand of Taqiyya
( Say one thing but hide the real meaning, anything goes as long as it gets results ) Well, at least she had a go at Jack ‘man of’ Straw.

I cannot remember the Lib-Dhimmi ’s name, but he was true to type, full of contradictions and spin. And there was also Bonnie Greer, who insisted that we all came from Africa initially ( an unproven, pseudo-scientific, populist Cultural -Marxist theory, usually quoted to back up the absurd claim that race is an ‘artificial construct’ )

The audience was chock full of lefty students, with only a few right wingers and BNP supporters allowed. it also contained an unrepresentative proportion of ethnic minorities, some of whom had an axe to grind.

The whole debacle dissolved into childish name calling and worn out rhetoric.

The only person to come out with a clean slate was Nick Griffin MEP. nick did not rise to their baited insults and mis-quotes and remained calm and pleasant throughout.

This is a unofficial response by SperoPatria to the BBC, the political elite, and the mainstream media who have tried everything in their power to smear Nick Griffin and the British National Party over the last week. The Question Time audience was vastly biased, obviously filled with a few stooges I expect, and so pathetic also that all they spent for one hour was hurling misquoted quotes at Mr Griffin.

Yes the man has a past and is not perfect like any politician, but you did not address real issues that most concern the British people, and you are still happy to refuse the English, Irish, Scots, and Welsh an identity, now that is 'Racism'. You only make us stronger, thank you. The reason for the 'immature' start of the video about the Mainstream media is purely against those in there that deserve a good dig by Nationalists after the lies they spread
The British National Party believes in telling the truth, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable to hear or offensive to those who would rather bury their heads in the sand than face real problems in our society. But while we often pass quite critical comment on the impact of immigration, multi-culturalism and alien religions on the indigenous people of our lands, we have no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers of non-native religions. Nor do we intend to encourage others to feel such animosity, or believe that anything we have to say is likely to 'stir up hatred' against anyone.

In fact, we believe that by providing a peaceful and Constitutional outlet for the anger and the frustration felt by millions of our people over the undemocratic transformation of our country by our political masters, the BNP actually defuses tensions. Where there is 'hate' we seek to turn it into righteous anger and political action against the only people who deserve to be hated - the politicians who use our taxes to turn our country into a place where we often feel like strangers in our own land.

Parents seek £1m for hammer attack on white son at 'race bullies' school

Damages: Henry Webster was left fighting for life after the attack at his school in 2007

A white pupil was battered with a hammer at a school where politically correct teachers were afraid to deal with racial tensions, the High Court heard yesterday.

Henry Webster, 15, suffered a fractured skull and brain damage after being set upon by a gang of Asian youths.

Twelve people were jailed over the 2007 attack, but Mr Webster's parents have now brought a civil action against Ridgeway Foundation School near Swindon.

They claim there was a negligent failure to maintain proper discipline and deal with racial tension and are seeking compensation of up to £1million.

The family's lawyers told the court a 'culture of racist bullying and harassment' built up around a 30-strong gang called the 'Asian Invasion'.

Teachers were too anxious about being seen as bigoted to intervene, but white pupils were branded 'racist' by the acting headmaster and given harsher punishments.

Robert Glancey, QC, representing the family, said tensions escalated after the July 7 London bombings in 2005 and when more Asian pupils joined the school, some of whom were 'radicalised and hostile'.

Racial intimidation and violence became a 'feature of the life of the school' with eruptions of 'extreme acts of violence', it was alleged.

Asians were 'encouraged' to separate from white pupils and formed a gang that would laugh at and abuse them.

Serious incidents included a riot on the playing field in May 2006, which led to armed police attending the school.

At the same time, white pupils received unfair treatment, the court was told. One boy was disciplined for wearing an England shirt.

Mr Glancey said: 'There were a large number of incidents, events, complaints and warnings which would or should have made any school which was being reasonably competent realise there was a serious problem with racism, violence security, discipline and misbehaviour.'

Mr Webster was attacked after being told an Asian youth wanted a one-to-one fight. But reinforcements from outside the school were called in by mobile phone.

Ridgeway School disputes the allegations against it and says blaming it for the attack, carried out by a non-pupil outside school hours, is ' unprecedented and far-fetched'.

The case is being brought by Mr Webster, now 18, his mother Elizabeth Walker, 46, who has her own nanny recruitment business, his younger brother Joseph, 14, and his step-father Roger Durnford, 44, who runs a building company.

They are also seeking damages, saying they were traumatised by witnessing his injuries and his suffering.

The case continues.

Exposing Extremism

Something that we Nationalists never tire of doing!

I have been out all day and have just read this excellent post from CLLR Martyn Findlay’s blog

I came across the video below on the Nationalist blog Epping Forest Residents who are using it as a reason to oppose a ‘place of worship’ which their councillors are campaigning against.

I am using it for a slightly different reason.

It has often been the excuse used by the media journalists and their Socialist-Marxist friends on the left of British politics that they are combating right wing extremism by refusing the British National Party a platform within their media outlets.

This is pure bullshit of course. In truth what they have been doing is vilifying political opponents for the purpose of excluding the British National Party from the public realm so that our policies and ideas could not be seen by the public. The intention was that the only real alternative to the Lib/Lab/Con political tricksters would remain unknown to the public.

As the video above clearly demonstrates. The best way to combat extremism is to inform the people as to the threat within.

The left wing journalists and Socialist-Marxist cranks are going into overdrive with Nick Griffins appearance on question time coming ever nearer. They are in no doubt what so ever that rather than combating extremism they are shitting themselves that the chairman of the British National Party is going to sit on the question time panel and be allowed to answer questions. Even a biased and hand picked audience will not be able to mask the insight and intelligence of the Nationalist position on whatever topics are brought up.

Last month I attended my annual training session for maintaining my security clearance in the prison service.
There was a presentation by three speakers from the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained their beliefs.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say about the basics of Islam, complete with video.
After the presentations, question time, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a Holy War against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'
There was no disagreement with my statement and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'
I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not a follower of Allah, so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'
The expression on his face changed from one of authority to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the biscuit tin.'
He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'
I then stated, 'Well, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope Benedict commanding all Catholics to kill Muslims, or the Archbishop of Canterbury ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'
The Imam was speechless!
I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me!'
'Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because He will take me to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam remained speechless.
Needless to say, the organizers of the Diversification' seminar were not happy with this way of exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.
Within twenty years, ie. 2029, there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.K. to elect a government of their choice, complete with Sharia law
Everyone in the U.K. should be required to read this, but with the current political paralysis, tolerant justice system, liberal media and p.c. madness, there is no way this will be widely publicised.

THE warped values of the modern police are a graphic indicator of Britain’s decline.

We once had the finest force in the world, a bulwark of civilisation that protected society and punished criminality but that sense of moral purpose has evaporated.
Today’s police do not regard the maintenance of order as their central duty. Obsessed with social engineering and cultural diversity, they no longer know whose side they are on.

Too many police chiefs see their constabularies as the shock troops of New Labour, promo ting Marxist orthodoxies rather than fighting crime.
The results of this change have been disastrous. Violent crime is at record levels. Assault, fraud, burglary and gang warfare are all rife.
While officers play their political games or become swamped by their useless bureaucracy, the very people who rely most on the police for protection are left prey to the thugs.
The police’s indifference to the vulnerable has been high lighted by the tragic case of Fiona Pilkington, the Leicester shire mother who killed herself and her severely disabled daughter Francesca after being subjected to a campaign of violent harassment by a gang of yob's involving beatings, vandalism and verbal abuse.
Despite 33 increasingly desperate calls for help from Ms Pilkington and her family Leicestershire police did nothing to tackle the yobs.
Not a single member of the 16 strong gang was ever prosecuted, nor was a so-called “exclusion zone” around the home ever enforced.
The disgraceful handling of Ms Pilkington’s case exposes the police’s hollowness of all their shrill rhetoric about “zero tolerance” towards hate crime, for this lethal campaign of intimidation was motivated solely by vicious spite.

Leicestershire’s Assistant Chief Constable Chris Tew tried to defend his force’s inaction by resorting to the two classic stratagems so often adopted by public sector organisations in crisis.
First, he hid behind procedural change, claiming that 2,000 of his officers “are now trained to spot vulnerable victims of crime”.
But his words only reveal how completely the police have lost their way. Years ago it would have been an automatic reflex for officers to come vigorously to Ms Pilkington’s aid by taking on the yobs. They would have laughed at the idea they required special training.
The Leicestershire police’s other manoeuvre was the inevitable bleat about “lack of resources”. Now this really is nonsense. Today’s police force is larger, better equipped, more highly rewarded and better funded than at any time in
British history.
Since 1997 the number of officers has gone up from 125,800 to 143,770, while the overall size of the workforce,
including civilian staff and community support officers, has increased by 56,000. The problem is that all this extra recruitment and money has been squandered through twisted priorities driven by Left wing politics rather than the real needs of society.

Two cases, one involving a genuine crime, the other an alleged “thought crime”, illustrate this point. A friend, who runs a successful motor business, had been the victim of a serious credit card fraud, perpetrated by a gang based in Manchester.

Having got away with the fraud once, the gang decided to try their luck again, attempting to buy goods from my friend with another false credit card. But this time he was ready. He told the gang that they would have to pick up the goods in person in the Southeast rather than having them shipped to the North west.
The trap appeared to have been set. My friend rang the police, gave them all the details and explained that it would be simple to arrest the fraudsters on his premises while they were attempting to commit their crime.
To his astonishment the police were not interested. “Lack of resources,” was yet again the excuse. so the gang were not caught as they easily could have been if the police had not been so enfeebled.

Yet the police seem to have plenty of resources to seize Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang, a Christian couple who run a hotel in Liverpool. After an argument about their faith with a Muslim guest they were arrested a couple of months later and charged with “religiously aggravated behaviour” under the Public Order Act.
Accused of Islamophobia, the couple now face ruin. This Government has long been contemptuous of free speech. Ministers appear eager to side with Muslim grievance mongers. They are instinctively hostile towards Christianity.

Their political correctness has influenced the pattern of modern policing.

FORTY per cent of victims of crime are never visited by the police, yet there were more than 50 officers
available to arrest Tory spokes man Damien Green last year for daring to question Labour’s immigration policies.

Detection rates for violent crime are at their lowest ever level, reaching just 47 per cent, yet the West Midlands police wasted its time seeking the prosecution of Channel Four

I have only just this moment had a visit from BBC Licensing, trying to gain access to my home.

I told him quite literally to bugger off !

I have not actually watched a TV for about 4 years- but I carried on paying for a licence by direct debit , thinking that because I had a computer that I was still liable for costs.

WRONG.

There is no legal requirement to pay a TV licence. Just DONT sign anything and DONT let them onto your property!

As I told the snivelling little git at my door "I don't watch TV because they tell lies!"

He tried to catch me by saying "We have people with handsets patrolling the area"

LIES!

They cannot tell the difference between a computer and a TV, no matter what lies they spin.

I am all for communities understanding each other's backgrounds and religions, but this Islamification process is not reciprocal . The Muslims are not required to learn about Christianity, Judaism or any other faith for that matter. Ask yourselves why?

Taken from The BNP website, this article is about Manchester (England's 3rd city), and concerns are that with a higher immigrant population, that our school children, in my city the second city, are being forced to follow the same thing that these poor Mancunians had to endure.

Manchester seems at present to have the dubious honour of leading the whole country into the abyss of Islamification.
A week after Manchester BNP activists first exposed the systematic desecration of Christian gravestones at Quadria Jilania Islamic Centre (formerly St John’s Church), only two miles away in the district of Whalley Range, another terrible chapter is being written in the chronicle of our national degradation.

Non-Muslim girls at Whalley Range High School for Girls have been pressured into observing Ramadan by fasting from dawn to dusk. According to the Manchester Evening News, around 30 non-Muslim pupils took part. They had to wake up to have breakfast by 5.00am and were not allowed to eat or drink until 7.30pm.

This unprecedented outrage took place on the 27th day of Ramadan, significant for Muslims as they believe it marks the day when the Koran was revealed to their “prophet” Mohammed and is considered the most important day of the fasting month.

Tellingly, teachers also participated in the charade and all students and staff wore a ‘27’ badge and will apparently be “awarded a certificate” for their self-abasement.

Deputy head teacher Bob Berry said, “It’s a way for the people involved to take on a Muslim way of life for one day and for them to find out a lot from each other. There were whole teaching departments including the teachers who took part, it was a fantastic project, and a great success.”

There are many complex reasons why Manchester seems to be at the forefront of this national malaise. One is certainly the pernicious influence of the virulently anti-British local Labour mafia who have a vice-like death grip on the politics of the corrupt City council and will not rest until every last vestige of British culture has been extirpated from the City. Another factor is the moral turpitude of local Christian ‘leaders’ who noisily make common cause with marauding gangs of violent Labour-UAF thugs in attacking the BNP, but are quiet as church mice when Christian gravestones are being systematically desecrated in the grounds of a converted mosque.

The apologists for Islamification usually seek to justify such obscenities as the Whalley Range Ramadan Islamopandering by citing “cross-cultural understanding”, “community cohesion” or some such vacuous platitude. The problem is that their appeasement agenda always seems to require British culture to cede more and more ground to Imperial Islam, with no reciprocation whatsoever.

Of course we may be wrong. Perhaps Muslim pupils at Whalley Range School for Girls intend to prove their commitment to “cross cultural understanding” and “community cohesion” by sitting down with their British classmates at the end of the Ramadan fast to enjoy a traditional English breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg and Manchester black pudding. Or maybe not.

3. The Queen has signed all six EU constitutional treaties. These treaties make it clear the EU will abolish the nations of Britain and England (and our Lib-Dem, Labour and Conservative parties, Lisbon Treaty clause 8A-4).

4. The EU is illegal under British law. Five Prime Ministers and the Queen have committed six acts of Treason by signing the EU treaties which will abolish our nation and replace it with the EU; they secretly repealed two of the five laws of treason in the 1998 Crime and Disorder Act (s36.3) to escape a prosecution.

5. The police state growing around you, and reported on by some national newspapers, is the EU police state. We've been in the EU for 36 years, we are harmonising our laws with the EU, the emerging police state is the result.

6. Political correctness, the undermining of parents, the family and teachers, the teaching of sex and homosexuality to under tens, the promotion of single parent families etc. etc. is subversion by the EU or its Common Purpose organisation over the last 34 years, using the 200+ techniques of the Marxist German Frankfurt School.

7. The EU will be an economic disaster. We now lose £45 billion a year trading with Europe; before we joined we broke even. The EU's 120,000 regulations cost us £100 billion a year (Better Regulation Commission Annual Report 2005); they will bring us a soviet style command economy and poverty. Our politicians lied to us.

8. If you have voted Conservative, Labour or Lib Dem over the last 35 years you have voted for the EU police state, and for the abolition of your own party.

9. German Chancellor Angela Merkel forced the Reform or Lisbon Treaty on us (passed by Westminster 21st January, 138 majority) which replaced the British Constitution with the EU's on 1st January 2009. Westminster is now powerless and defunct. The EU treaties don't allow for a British General Election, due by 5th May 2010, when the EU will have the power to abolish Westminster. You will then be imprisoned inside the EU police state, and ruled by unelected EU dictators, who will control the nuclear weapons of what used to be Britain and France.

1/ ALL National and Local newspapers LIE TO THE PUBLIC and demonise dissent as 'right wing extremism' they tell the most blatant lies about the British National Party because WE KNOW what they are up to! the words 'Nazi'-'fascist' and 'racist 'are used liberally [sic] to describe us when these words really apply to them.

The tabloids do it by big blazing shock tactics, and the heavyweight and 'intellectual' papers do the same thing but with a bit more subtlety.

2/ The BBC and other TV stations have been numbing our brains for many years.

The above video that you must watch, was released earlier today by Anjem Choudary as a result of the recent attempted protests by the multi-racial English Defence League and the Stop the Islamification of Europe(SIOE) organisation.

In the video Choudary clearly lays out to all but the dimmest Dhimmi, just what the Moslem intentions are towards the British People are and none of those intentions are peaceful. They come here not to integrate but to conquer.

And by looking at the first video and reading the reports from observers at these "attempted" protests by people objecting to the theft of their country, the Moslems appear to be winning.

Such are their numbers now, that they are now able to mobilise thousands of their young "warriors" onto the streets of our former towns and cities at short notice and when they turn up they come tooled up with weapons.

“We are happy to present the Muslim alternative, socially, economically, politically, judiciary in every department in fact of society”

Such now is the arrogance of these people that they even issue a warning to the communists who are attempting to use the Moslems as the claw hammer to destroy Nationalism. The Moslems do not need them any longer. The UAF have served their purpose and Choudray sends them also a clear message. Submit also or else. As he says in the video;

“We should not allow those people like the UAF and socialists and the labour party and the Respect Party to hijack this agenda for their own personal and selfish aims which have nothing at all to do with Islam”

I am afraid from what I am reading and learning, is that the time for a peaceful solution to the British Peoples problems with the invaders is coming to an end and it fills me with fear for the future of Our Children.

It may well be that only a massive campaign of Civil Disobedience by the true owners of this land may now save us and even then there is no longer any guarantee that we will win.

The government should now heed the Islamic writing on the wall and remind themselves of what happened in the Romanian Revolution of 1989 when the oppressed people finally rose up against their evil masters and overthrew the state in a violent revolution that lasted all of a week.

They might also like to consider the fate of the Romanian Leader and tyrant Ceauşescu who was stood up against a wall and shot.

River threatened by house building. It must be stopped!

A RIVER which supplies thousands of Swindon homes with water has been left ‘in peril’ by rampant home building throughout the town.

Action For the River Kennet

The River Kennet, a chalk river, which originates at Swallowhead Spring, between Devizes and Marlborough, serves 30,000 Swindon homes with about 12 million litres of water a year as it flows from the North Wessex Downs through the Wiltshire countryside before meeting the Thames in Reading.

But campaigners say that with 30,000 more homes to be built in Swindon by 2026, other sources need to be tapped to ensure the river doesn’t disappear.

Charlotte Hitchmough, director of Action for River Kennet, said that the river, which used to be large enough for swimming, has now depleted to dangerous levels due to overuse.

She said: “There are adults we speak to now who remember swimming in the river, but you wouldn’t be able to paddle in it nowadays.

“Levels of extraction from the river has been growing to keep up with the levels of housing.

“As a result there has also been a huge fall in wildlife living in and around the river.

“In parts it has become little more than a trickle – one section above Hungerford is really suffering.

“The creatures which have suffered the most include kingfishers water voles and brown trout.”

Mrs Hitchmough said the river was also affected because of the concrete from homes.

She added: “One of the problems with the Kennet is that along with new homes comes concrete and Tarmac, meaning that instead of water soaking into the ground and then down into the river’s aquifer (underground layer of water-bearing permeable rock or gravel, sand, silt, or clay) – it simply rolls off the impermeable surfaces and is lost to the river.

“Most other rivers are replenished by water companies, but because the Kennet draws its water from the ground, water cannot be put back in.”

Mrs Hitchmough believes that because of overuse more than 3km of river has already dried up. She said that unless another solution is found more will be lost in years to come.

Her group, which is currently working on a campaign alongside World Wide Fund for Nature, is currently in talks with both the Environment Agency and Thames Water to find new sources for soon to be developed homes.

However Mrs Hitchmough said because water from the Kennet was so cheap for water companies to extract, it would be hard to convince them to look elsewhere.

Plans for a new reservoir to be built near Abingdon, to help meet Swindon’s water needs, has been put on hold until 2020.

Upcoming plans to develop homes in and around Swindon include 4,500 homes in Wichelstowe, 12,000 in the Eastern Development Area (EDA), 2,000 homes near Tadpole Lane, 1,800 homes near Commonhead, 3,000 homes near Moredon Bridge, which will put water supplies under further pressure.
